Desk Top Publishing has now become a standard feature used by companies, giving them in-house control of Sales, Marketing, Technical, or Financial information which will be circulated internally or externally, either as hard copy, or in electronic format.

- Do not know where to make the line break or page break within the new text

- Do not have the correct fonts
- Significant layout changes for languages such as Arabic, where a mirror image of an English original design would be required (Arabic is read from the right to left of the page).
- Often diagrams and labels must also be re-created for the translated documentation
