Project Management
At McFelder Translations we project manage every translation project from start to finish. This way, we have full control over the entire process and are able to guarantee the highest quality in all our services.

Single Point of Contact
A project manager is assigned to each client and oversees the entire assignment. This guarantees continuity and facilitates swift and easy communications.
Fixed Project Budget
The budget is agreed at the start of the project on the basis of a detailed quotation which has been agreed with the client.

McFelder Translations operate in accordance with the European standard for translation services, EN 15038
Project definition
The project manager liaises with the client to clearly define their requirements.
Text analysis
The text provided by the client is assessed. A quotation is prepared taking into account the number of words, the number of repeating units, the language combinations, the nature of the text (general or specialist), the delivery dates and any DTP or editing requirements. The quotation will clearly define how the project costs have been calculated and exactly what you are paying for. The project commences upon client approval.
Translation / 1st Quality Control
The project is managed by the project manager who will assign the work to the most qualified translators. Translation Memory databases will be created and/or used by the translators as they work. The first translator will conduct the first proofread of the document.
2nd Quality Control
All translated texts are then proofread again by a professional proof-reader. All translators and proof-readers have passed our selection process and will be working in accordance with our confidentiality procedures.
Delivery
The project manager delivers the assignment when the project has been completed in compliance with procedures. The assignment is archived and stored.
